UP 

Christ-centered Identity:  We strive to be a Christ-centered, Acts 1:8 family. We purpose to build Christ-centered identity, believing that the truth sets us free to become more like Jesus  (Phil. 4:13; Eph. 3:20; Ps. 119:37; John 14:6; Gal. 2:20; Romans 8:28-29; 1 John 2:27).

Prayer and Worship:  We lift the name of Jesus through prayer and worship as a lifestyle to inspire intimacy with God  (James 4:8; Luke 11:10; Malachi 3:6; 1 Cor. 10:13; Col. 4:2; Acts 1:8-14; Luke 5:16; Mark 11:17; Rom. 12:1; Luke 4:8; John 4:20-24; 1 John 5:14-15; Jer. 33:3).

 

Joy:  The joy of the Lord is our strength and a sense of humor is important to us.  A positive outlook on life is valued. The faith journey inspires an optimistic hope in the world around us (Neh. 8:10; Philippians 4:4-7; Jeremiah 29:11; Isaiah 32:17; Psalm 91; 2 Cor. 12:9-10; Deut. 31:6; Micah 7:7-8). 

 

DOWN

Scripture:  We are committed to practical Bible teaching that helps people understand who Jesus is and grow as His disciples   (Heb. 4:12; 2 Tim. 3:16; Mt. 4:4; Psalm 119).

 

Cheerful givers who give good cheer:  We want to deepen our connection with Jesus as we serve Him with joy, develop encouraging relationships as we serve each other, and serve our community together as we steward well our time, talents, and treasures (2 Cor. 9:7; Prov. 17:22; James 1:22; Matt. 6:19-21 &  13:44-46;  Luke 9:23-24; Luke 16:1-15 & 19:11-27; Eph. 4:11-13). 

 

IN 

Family:  We are a welcoming family where love for God overflows into love for people.  We seek to create safe places for authenticity.  We are an authentic community of grace where encouragement happens as we connect with others.  We want to meet people where they are and help them take the next step in their journey with Jesus  (Neh. 8:10; 1 John 3:16; 2 Cor. 13:11; Heb. 12:14-15; James 1:19-20; Acts 5:42; 20:20; Heb. 10:25; 1 Thess. 5:11; 2 Chron. 16:9).

 

Authenticity and Simplicity are important to us as a family.  We are more about people to people ministry than programs or production (Matt.16:18; 1 Cor. 1:10; Mark 12:30; Phil. 3:12-14; Micah 6:8). 

 

OUT 

Missions and Outreach:  We believe in the great commandment and the great commission, sharing Jesus locally and globally.  We desire to be fruitful and multiply God’s Kingdom (Matt. 22:37-40; Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Gen. 1:22-28; 9:1; Matt. 7:16-20; John 15:1-2; Gal. 5:22; Phil. 1:22; Col. 1:6; Heb. 13:15; James 3:17; Rev. 22:1-2). We believe that teamwork and equipping are essential to accomplishing the mission.   We value developing leaders and equipping people for Spirit-filled living in order to launch out for a kingdom impact (Luke 10:2; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 4:11-13).
