What to expect

When you first arrive at The Outpost you will see most of the congregation gathering in the lobby to fellowship and catch up over the past week. Straight ahead you will find the coffee bar where you can pour yourself a steamy hot cup of joe, or perhaps a cup of tea or hot cocoa instead. We also have cookies and pre-portioned snacks for anyone to help themselves to.

If you turn left at the coffee bar you'll head straight into our nursery.

At 10:20 there will be a Change Agent (volunteer) to receive your child. Our nursery is for children up to three years old, but we do have options for older kids as well. Your children's SAFETY is our number one priority and that is why all of our change agents are background checked and scanned before working with our kids. We also have a handy paging system so you can rest in peace knowing that if your children need you, you are only a page away.

Our older kids, ages 4 years - 2nd grade, will head into the main auditorium to worship with you. After worship and prayer, they will be released to head back into the lobby for Kid's Church. We believe kids should have FUN as well as LEARN at church and we strive to make it the very best environment for the entire family. Again, safety is our number one priority, so the front doors are locked when the children come out and there are always multiple adults between the lobby and nursery. After church you will come out to the lobby. Your children will be seated waiting for dismissal from their teacher once they see you and you have signed your child out.

**If you or your child chooses to opt out of Kid's Church we do offer activity bags to entertain them during service. If they fill out the sermon worksheet they can even claim a prize from the prize box after church! You'll find the bags hanging under the Outpost Sign as you enter the double doors into the main auditorium.

What to bring

For nursery aged children, you'll want to bring a diaper bag, or at least one diaper. (Don't worry if you forget, we do have some on hand as well!) Feel free to bring a sippy cup, snacks and/or a comfort item.

For older kids (4+), you're good! Just make sure they are dressed ready to run, jump, play and have a good time! That's it!

We cant wait to meet you and your family!
